Charlesgate Senior Living Center Achieves Perfect Score on Biennial State Licensure Survey

Charlesgate Senior Living Center is pleased to announce that for the second time in our history, we have received the distinction of being 100% in compliance with state regulations for assisted living residences, something only a few senior living communities have achieved. The biennial survey is conducted by the Rhode Island Department of Health. 

This wouldn’t have been possible without the outstanding service provided by our staff, many of whom are pictured here. Every day, they work tirelessly to enrich the lives of our residents so they are able to experience life at its fullest.  

The inspectors were impressed with several aspects of our assisted living program – first and foremost our helpful and attentive staff. They also highlighted our thoroughness and extensive attention to detail that encompasses services from all of our community’s departments, which include nursing services, medication administration, arrangement of health and supportive services, recreational services, resident services, housekeeping, and laundry. 

We have also just undergone a complete construction upgrade throughout the entire building. The common areas, dining room, and every single apartment has been upgraded and refurbished using the highest quality materials. And although we still maintain the distinction of having the most affordable assisted living services in the state, the décor makes residents feel like they are residing in the most upscale of retirement communities.
